Sania Maskatiya Returns to the Lahore Runway with Colour-Rich LALEH Collection

Sania Maskatiya opened the Designer Show at LAAM Fashion Week Season 2 with LALEH, a vibrant collection that brought the label’s signature prints, intricate craftsmanship and playful approach to occasionwear back to the Lahore runway.
Colour took centre stage as the designer presented a series of looks combining painterly prints, layered silhouettes and elaborate embellishments. Rich hues and unexpected pairings gave the collection its lively character, while traditional gota work added a distinctly South Asian touch.
With LALEH, Maskatiya revisited the design elements that have long defined her label, particularly her use of expressive prints and handcrafted detailing. Heritage techniques appeared alongside contemporary cuts, lending a fresh perspective to familiar elements of festive dressing.
The collection moved between statement-making ensembles and more refined interpretations, with intricate surface work and contrasting textures adding depth to the looks. Rather than following a restrained palette, LALEH embraced colour and ornamentation, reflecting the designer’s preference for clothes that make an impression.
Shoes by Charles & Keith complemented the runway looks, while jewellery from Embellish by Saigals and Shop Local Jewels completed the styling.
Marking Sania Maskatiya’s return to the Lahore runway, LALEH offered a colourful opening to the Designer Show, with traditional craft and contemporary occasionwear sharing the spotlight.
