For its first appearance on the fashion week runway, MIHHA turned to the enduring appeal of South Asian couture, presenting its 2026 Exclusive Collection with actress Durefishan Saleem taking centre stage as the evening’s celebrity showstopper.

There was little restraint in MIHHA’s runway debut. The label embraced the richness of traditional dressing, placing sumptuous textiles, elaborate embellishments and distinctly feminine cuts at the heart of its presentation.

Silk, taffeta and velvet formed the foundation of the lineup, each bringing a different character to the garments. Panelled lehengas created volume, fitted cholis offered definition, and gharara-inspired designs introduced a softer, more fluid shape. The interplay of fabric and structure gave familiar silhouettes a renewed presence on the ramp.

The colour palette was equally varied. Earthy browns provided a subdued counterpoint to saturated jewel tones, while intricately worked surfaces added dimension to the ensembles. The emphasis remained on craftsmanship and material, with decorative finishes lending an unmistakable richness to the clothes.

Rather than departing from established bridal and festive traditions, MIHHA chose to explore their possibilities through proportion, texture and styling. The result was a debut that favoured elaborate dressing without losing sight of wearability.

Actress Durefishan Saleem appeared as the celebrity showstopper, bringing star presence to the label’s first runway outing.

With its 2026 Exclusive Collection, MIHHA introduced a design identity rooted in the grandeur of South Asian fashion, where luxurious fabrics and detailed handwork remain central to the art of getting dressed.
