LAAM Fashion Week returned for its second season with LFW Presents: Starry Night, bringing 21 of Pakistan’s leading designers and fashion houses onto one runway for an opening showcase inspired by the mystery and glamour of the night sky.

Departing from the traditional format of individual collections, the opening presentation invited each designer to create a single look interpreting the Starry Night theme through their own design language.

The runway was dominated by midnight blues, jet blacks, charcoal greys and deep purples, with flashes of white offering a striking contrast. Crystal embellishments, shimmering sequins and metallic finishes added texture and movement, lending the evening a distinctly glamorous mood.

The designer lineup featured some of the industry’s most established names alongside contemporary labels, including Hussain Rehar, HSY, Karma, Nickie Nina, Deepak Perwani, Mahgul, Wardha Saleem, Sublime by Sara, Zaheer Abbas, Zainab Chottani, The Pink Tree Company, Faiza Samee, Khaadi, Emraan Rajput, Sania Maskatiya, Meeras by Neelofer Shahid, Mehdi, Mo by Mohsin Tawasuli, Fahad Hussayn, Waniya by Meher Azam and Kamiar Rokni.

What distinguished Starry Night was its collective approach. Rather than allowing individual collections to take centre stage, the presentation placed different creative perspectives within a shared aesthetic. The result was a runway that moved between design sensibilities while maintaining a consistent visual direction.

With 21 designers interpreting one theme, Starry Night offered a broad view of Pakistan’s fashion landscape and set the stage for the presentations to follow at LAAM Fashion Week Season 2.
